The Full Brexit contributor Professor Danny Nicol has written an interesting piece in a debate over his project on "Judicial Power and the Left".
He takes issue with a critic's call for the left to "embrace a more legal, and more international, constitutionalism…to achieve lasting social change", pointing out that this approach has actually entrenched "a permanently neoliberal, privatised economy in which workers’ bargaining power is minimal".
This is in tune with Professor Mary Davis's recent Analysis for The Full Brexit, which shows that relying on the EU to protect workers' rights makes little sense.
The debate is well worth reading, and you can check out Danny's project here.
